Here's a sketch of two of my original characters from my ambitious project, Scar Owl. As soon as I have a concrete plot on my story, I would post it here in DA or in some of my other sites for others to read. I originally plan to create a manga out of it, but it seems not too feasible soon because I'm quite, uh, busy. XD
Anyway, Gilgamesh and Ishtar are the main characters on a side story of Scar Owl.
Brief background: The two are both members of a barbaric tribe called Annunaki (but they are called by others as Star Fowls). They are creatures that seemed human-like, but can use energy coming from nearby stars and other heavenly bodies and store them in their bodies as power source. The marks on their faces acts like a solar panel. They are adept in fighting using weapons like swords, and the males of the species can grow wings and have a flying capability. They tried to conquer several planets using brute force. But after the lost of the Star Fowls on the Thousand Year Stellar War against the Pantheon, highlanders of the planet Pangaea, the Star Fowls are forced to live abiding their rules.
Gilgamesh is the grandson of a Thousand Year Stellar War Annunaki hero, and member of a noble clan. He is a proud warrior of the clan, and even resenting the Pantheons for dominating the clan. He quiet and reserved most of the times, but can act completely childish when with the presence of Ishtar, his female companion and secret crush. He wields the "Glaive of Heaven", a huge and powerful sword.
Ishtar is the childhood friend and female companion of Gilgamesh. She acts as the sword and material bearer of Gilgamesh. (She's doing so because a law created by the Pantheon; females carry the weapons, etc. of male Annunaki warriors. Details on the law will be explained later.) She's very intelligent and quite lively, although she acts sarcastic at times when with Gilgamesh. She's secretly in love with Gilgamesh, and even try to say it in front of him. But to no avail, Gilgamesh is just hopeless.
Note: I'm sorry for the poor quality of the drawing. It's supposed to be just a simple sketch, but I ended up drawing too much lines thus it looks dirty. I'll try to make a cleaner (or possibly a colored) version of this later.
Thanks! I would want to color it too using photoshop, but I don't know how to clean it. (it's so darn messy) I wouldn't want to resort having to re-draw it all over again.

If you don't mind, can I possibly play around with this picture a little? I'm not sure if I'll even upload it or anything, just want to see how it turns out.
Sure! But let me see the result whatsoever. And super thanks for the PSD file. I haven't touched photoshop for months because of academic matters, but probably I'll try practicing my rusting skills again.
